For my fan-made music video for the Yamaha PG1 (2:25 long), I took published footage, already out there, and used AI in post-production to transform it into a music video with a fresh narrative. About 40 seconds (~30% duration) feature AI driven lip sync and effects, blended with real shoot footage to create something vibrant and immersive. No one asked for, but because I can, so I just.. work on it.
The music was a big part of the vibe shift, see original lyric here. I went for an indie, adventurous, free-spirited reggae vibe, like Bob Marley but with a Gen Z twist, think open roads and chill freedom.
I composed the track by Suno, crafted the lyrics, and fine-tuned it to feel distinct from the original film’s music, which had a totally different energy. This gave the music video its own soul, perfectly matching the Yamaha PG1’s vibe.
As the creative lead, I wrote the lyrics, directed, and edited to bring it all together. AI was my wingman, also the whole production house helping extend and reshape the published footage, while my choices kept the human spark alive. It’s about blending creativity with tech to craft something authentic.
AI lip sync based on audio.

Using nano banana to create different angles from single colorgraded original frame. Once I have it, I send them to lip sync studio for generating singing footages. This is very similar to a real shooting session, but the different is everything was happened… in the cloud, not in studio, no rental fee, no crew, no equipment… and it involve only just the Director tinkering with prompts – sounds lonely and desperate, but it doesn’t, trust me, it’s fun LOL.

AI is really handful tools in post-production. Instead of heavy pre-production planning and massive shoots, it lets you do more in post, extending and reshaping footage with less manpower. It gives directors, creatives, and clients room (a lots!) to experiment, adjust, and develop ideas.. again. Though you’ve still got to nail down a finish line, the production can’t be on going forever, of course. Project managers, Producers, agency, client and production houses need to rethink workflows and find a way to use AI tools to stay agile and creative.
“We’ll shoot it in post!”
AI VFX scenes, which are never existed, never been shot, I developed them from original footages. AI giving the power to reshoot the impossible shots in post-production phase. Let’s go wild! anything can be shot in post.
