Here come another live-action miniature stop motion animation style I did as part of AI experimentation.

This time, I can put my hand on Seedance 2.0 which slowly rollout all globally after dramas and delay from Bytedance. I have to admit that Seedance is very impressive, it can understand prompts and sometimes I think it also reasoning, I believed Bytedance packed professional film maker AI agent under the hood. And yes, the consistency is in the next level to be honest, but hallucinate and artefact is still happen.

I still use the hybrid approach on this. The characters are hand-built, in HG scale I painted it and weathering it by AI, the location is real too, it is a garden pond of my residential building. Ah, the UAV at the beginning, it’s a real UAV model of Royal Navy, UK, the Scan Eagle drone. So basically, everything in the AI film is real, I put them together, styling it, bring it into one frame and tell them to act by prompting, with the help from Claude as my Assistant Director.
