This 38-second music video for a hip-hop, rap, electronic track is a burst of creativity, entirely generated by AI! Lastly, I want to push myself to make this happen because I believe I can: I can create a full music video with the help of current AI generative tools, which I have been testing since mid-2023.
During the process, I realized that AI generative tools have many limitations, especially when generating conceptual, futuristic ambient scenes. However, I believe that a well-trained, locally optimized generative AI system can create much more precise and stable characters and backgrounds, leading to more impressive results.
The announcement that AI will change the history of filmmaking is true, and it is happening. I am thrilled to see it becoming a reality day by day.

I created this with Suno after a discussion session with Gemini and ChatGPT. The beat and melody are catchy and surprisingly good. However, the lyrics definitely need adjustments to sound more natural in Vietnamese. For now, I’ll leave them as they are.

The human element is crucial here. The more effectively you can communicate with the AI, the better the results will be. “Prompt crafting” is definitely a skill you need if you want to collaborate with any AI system. Prompting isn’t just about typing commands; it requires a broad knowledge of many fields and a deep understanding of your primary role.
For instance, a film director needs a deep understanding of storytelling, human emotional evolution, and a vast knowledge of the filmmaking process, history, art direction, sound design, and many related aspects.
Maintaining consistency in character, costume, background, lighting, and situations is the challenging part. It takes time to try and fail, refine and redo, and put things in proper order. But the process is there. I’m discovering it piece by piece, prompt by prompt, and honestly, it’s fun!
Hallucination is the key to make people feel things are generated from AI is ‘make sense’, it’s sound weird, but it does.
