In late November, I created another short AI film using my 2011 Mazda 2 hatchback as the main subject since September – link. I do this to test and measure the capabilities of current AI tools (such as Google, Higgsfields) and models (Nano Banana, Veo, Kling…).
I run these tests every few months or weeks to track their progress and see how far the technology has evoled. This helps me understand how to best apply these tools to my current work.
The Process
I took photos of my car to use as reference images. These included exterior shots, interior details, and POV shots from the driver’s seat. Then I used Nano Banana (the version before Nano Banana Pro) to generate various scenes: static shots, racing sequences, in-car views, and collision scenes then stitch everything together and dubbing VO and SFX by CapCut.
